Koichi Uchida

Koichi Uchida was born in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture.
He graduated from Seto Pottery Senior High School, Aichi, Japan.
After graduating from high school, he traveled around the world and lived in a kiln to gain experience in production.
He built his own kiln in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture.
In 2015 he opened BANKO archive design museum in Mie, and in 2019 he was awarded The Japan Ceramic Society Award for his work.
In 2021, he produced KATACHI museum in Mie.
