Taizo Kuroda
Brief Personal History

Taizo Kuroda was born in Notogawa, Shiga Prefecture in 1946.
After spending a year in Paris in 1966, he moved to New York and then to Canada in1967.
In 1981 he returned to Japan and built a kiln in Matsuzaki-cho, Izu.
Later, in 1991, he built a kiln in Futo, Ito City.
He published his first book “White Porcelain” in 2001.
In 2015 ” White Porcelain TAIZO KURODA” (Kyuryudo) was published and “Kuroda Taizo: Hakuji e (To White Porcelain)” (Heibonsha) was published in 2007.
